Backend Engineer (Go, AWS, MySQL)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will play a key role in developing reliable, high-performance systems that power our platform and support real-world production workloads.

This role requires strong backend fundamentals, cloud experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Go

Build scalable and efficient data models using MySQL or other relational databases

Deploy and manage cloud-native applications in AWS

Optimize performance, reliability, and security of backend systems

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams

Contribute to CI/CD workflows and deployment pipelines

Required Qualifications

5–10 years of professional backend development experience

Strong experience developing backend services using Go

Solid experience with MySQL databases

Experience working with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

Experience with at least one additional programming language such as Python, Java, or similar

Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments

Experience using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration

Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Nice to Have

Experience designing distributed systems

Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code

Experience working in high-growth or startup environments

Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
