Senior Electronics Design Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in the development of cutting-edge hardware solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of selecting and integrating electronic components into functional systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

This is an expert-level position where your insights and guidance will directly shape our products and influence key technical decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define hardware architectures and bring concepts from idea to fully functioning prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

Select suitable electronic components based on system requirements, cost, availability, and performance.

Design, prototype, and validate electronic circuits and subsystems.

Ensure robust integration of hardware components for complete system functionality.

Guide and mentor internal teams on best practices in electronics design.

Collaborate with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless product development.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and component availability.

Maintain documentation for design decisions, BOMs, and testing procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in electronics design, development, and integration.

Proven track record of designing complex electronic systems from concept to production.

Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and component selection.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug hardware issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).

Location & Work Environment

This role requires on-site presence in Kista a few days per week to work hands-on with hardware and collaborate with the team.
