Automation Engineer / IT Partner – ABB 800xA & PLC

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Automation Engineer or IT Partner with solid experience in ABB’s 800xA system, PLC programming, and modular automation systems. You will take part in high-level industrial automation projects across Europe, with a mix of on-site and remote work depending on the project.

Responsibilities:

Configure, program, and maintain systems in ABB 800xA

PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB, etc.)

Design and integration of modular automation solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and IT teams

Provide technical documentation and customer support

Participate in system commissioning and implementation phases

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation

Proven track record working with ABB 800xA

Strong knowledge of PLC systems and modular automation components

Experience working in industrial/production environments

Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
