IT Support Manager - Location: Visby

Overview: The IT Support Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness of IT systems supporting key

operational functions. By providing technical support, implementing solutions, and leveraging data insights, this role contributes to the

success of the company.

Systems Implementation and Integration:

 Lead the implementation and integration of IT systems and software applications for material order handling, inventory management,

and production.

 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define system requirements and customize software to meet operational needs.

 Ensure seamless integration between different systems and platforms to facilitate data exchange and process automation.

Technical Support:

 Provide technical support to end-users for order handling, inventory, invoicing and production-related IT systems and applications.

 Investigate and resolve technical issues, system errors, and performance problems in a timely and efficient manner to minimize

disruptions to operations.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

 Manage the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance.

 Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data integrity checks to safeguard critical business information.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

 Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze operational data, identify trends, and extract actionable insights for process

optimization and decision-making.

 Generate regular reports and dashboards on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics, inventory, and production operations,

highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency gains.

And other tasks assigned by the company.

REQUIREMENTS FOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Relevant education or experience in computer science, IT and SW management or design (BA in computer science or corresponding

experience).

Experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.

Technical expertise in enterprise resource planning, warehouse management systems and inventory management software is a plus.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, network configuration, and database management.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on leveraging technology to drive operational improvements and business

growth.
