Marketing Developer (Braze & Iterable)

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Technology Developer with specialized experience in Braze and Iterable platforms. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between marketing and technology, responsible for developing and maintaining the technical infrastructure that supports our marketing automation efforts. This role involves coding, integrating systems, and optimizing processes to enable seamless customer experiences across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development & Integration:

Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within Braze and Iterable, leveraging APIs, SDKs, and webhooks.

Integrate Braze and Iterable with other internal systems (CRM, data warehouses, analytics platforms) to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Develop custom scripts and workflows to enhance platform functionality, automate processes, and improve campaign efficiency.

Data Management:

Build and maintain data pipelines that feed customer data into Braze and Iterable, ensuring data is clean, accurate, and updated in real-time.

Work with SQL and other query languages to manage complex audience segmentation and personalized messaging.

Implement data tracking and analytics solutions within Braze and Iterable, allowing for advanced reporting and insights.

Custom Development:

Develop custom modules, templates, and components within Braze and Iterable to support dynamic and personalized content delivery.

Implement and maintain custom integrations with third-party tools, such as social media platforms, CMS, or e-commerce systems.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support for the marketing and CRM teams, troubleshooting issues related to campaign execution, data flows, and system integrations.

Collaborate with the IT and development teams to resolve complex technical challenges related to the marketing technology stack.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure that all data handling and processing within Braze and Iterable complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations.

Implement security best practices within the marketing technology stack to protect customer data and ensure platform reliability.

Documentation & Best Practices:

Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all custom solutions and integrations.

Establish and promote best practices for using Braze and Iterable, including code management, version control, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of Braze and Iterable platforms, including their APIs, SDKs, and custom development capabilities.

Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.

Experience with HTML/CSS for building and customizing email templates and in-app messages.

Proficient in SQL and data management practices, with experience in database integration and data pipeline development.

Integration Expertise:

Experience integrating Braze and Iterable with CRM systems, data warehouses, and other third-party platforms.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks for building and maintaining integrations.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to work with large datasets, perform data analysis, and create custom reports.

Experience with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Segment, or similar.

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with marketing, product, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the [specific industry relevant to the company, e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, fintech].

Certification in Braze and/or Iterable.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Knowledge of additional marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot).
