Senior App Developer (mid, senior or lead)

We are looking for an innovative and energetic App developer - Andriod and/or iOS developer with the possibility to get a lead position, who will be responsible for the development and support of the RaceID applications.

Raceid.com is a global meeting place for race participants and organizers, and our goal is for every race in the world to be presented, fully bookable, and available for you on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

The platform is created to help users to join endurance races in Sweden, Europe, and soon all across the globe. Whether it’s running, biking, swimming, adventure racing, or any other endurance sport, you’ll find your race here.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

You will work on Android and/or iOS applications with the goal to connect and inspire people in the outdoor endurance sport world;

Design patterns (GoF) and architecture of the applications;

Maintain technical documentation in proper condition;

Collaborate with other developers, designers and QA engineers to deliver a product that our users love;

Fix bugs according to user reports, suggest changes to app logic according to user experience;

Work together with design & product teams on UX/UI optimization;

Do research and brainstorm new and creative optimization and scale strategies, present your ideas to the team;

Add new features and work on improving the existing ones, test all the features before the general rollout;

Build reusable code that libraries for future use;

Attend daily stand-up meetings, Collaborate with Ukrainian and Swedish teams both verbally and written (discussions are held in two languages (Ukrainian, English);

Participate in discussions regarding product requirements;

Skills & Qualifications to Shine ✨ :

Experienced in Android, Kotlin, Swift, familiar with Firebase, Firestore; RestAPI

Multithreading and Coredata is a must;

Ability to fully understand current design and architecture and make design and development recommendations;

Experience in animation;

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills;

Ability to work independently and achieve results without daily supervision, while collaborating with other developers and team members;

Fluency in English.

Would be a plus:

Good knowledge of Jira/Confluence (Xray is also fine);

Experience in work with Websockets;

SwiftUI and combine knowledge;
